Maxwell Design is based on a consulting model: an hourly rate, or one-time fee. Your experience will be totally personalized—from a full-service custom build, to simply picking the perfect paint color—the scale and scope will be agreed upon individually with each client.
Maxwell Design’s signature style has classic roots, with a modern edge, and a hint of glamour. However, with the philosophy that there is no single “right way,” we work together with the client to find inspiration and endeavor to create a space that is unique and personal to them.

Sunny Maxwell, Founder
Sunny Maxwell has studied and worked in the fields of art history, architecture, museum design, interior design, and residential renovation and restoration. After graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree and Fine Arts and Spanish, she lived in London for a year and traveled extensively, admiring art and architecture all over the world. For the last 18 years, she has focused on residential renovations and new construction. Working on historical properties and collaborating with creative clients, Sunny has created unique living spaces that confirm the idea that nothing is final and anything is possible. As a mom and pet owner, Sunny knows the importance of practicality, yet believes a comfortable, family-friendly home can be achieved without sacrificing style or elegance.
